Ingredients
1 (10 lbs) Brookshire’s Spiral Sliced Ham
3/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup orange juice
Directions
- Remove ham from packaging. Place flat-side down in a roasting pan. Let the ham come to room temperature for 1 hour before cooking. Preheat oven to 325° F. Cover the ham with foil. Place meat in the oven for 1 hour.
- In a saucepan, combine the mustard, maple syrup and orange juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes, and set aside.
- Uncover the ham, and turn it upright. Continue to cook for 12 to 14 minutes per pound, or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of ham registers 120° F. Baste the outside with the glaze. Continue to cook (uncovered) until meat registers 130° F. Do one final basting with the drippings in the pan before serving. Serve with additional glaze on the side.
